Honda Japan has teased the Honda ZR-V, which is the global version of the US-market Honda HR-V.
As mentioned in an earlier article, the Honda ZR-V is a Civic-based SUV that bridges the gap between the Honda City-based HR-V and the Civic-based Honda CR-V. However, Honda has confirmed that it will discontinue sales of Honda CR-V in Japan later this year.

While the European-market ZR-V will be sold exclusively with Honda’s e:HEV hybrid and the China-market model is sold with a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine at launch, the Japan-market ZR-V gets both powertrains.
Performance figures have yet to be announced, but taking the Civic FE’s numbers as reference, the 1.5-litre turbo should be good for 182 PS/240 Nm while the 2.0-litre hybrid is expected to make 184 PS/315 Nm based on the European Civic Hatchback.
