Report: Future Mercedes-Benz EVs will not be called EQ anymore

The next-generation electric vehicles (EV) by Mercedes-Benz, set to arrive at the end of 2024, will reportedly drop the EQ brand name, according to the German daily Handelsblatt.

Mercedes-Benz currently markets its EVs under the EQ brand, with the EQC being the first model that was announced in 2016. It has since expanded to include EQA, EQB, EQE, EQS, and SUV models of the last two.
