Owner review: A simple, and practical upgrade. My 2022 HONDA CITY GN2 V-SENSING

Basic information about my car:

HONDA CITY GN2 VENSING 2022

Reasons why I bought this car:

Previously i am driving my old PROTON WIRA which is manufactured on 2003 and manual gear box. After many years of driving the old car is starting to become trouble maker to me and unstable condition make my drive not confident. After discuss , i am planning to buy a new car which is around 90k budget to replace my own old car.

Car selection process

•  I had a budget of:  90k

•  Models that I have considered include:

BRAND and OVERALL PERFORMANCE

•   Reasons why I chose this car:

Among the 90k budget, my list include PROTON X50 , NISSAN ALMERA , TOYOTA VIOS and HONDA CITY .

I only can buy X50 EXCECUTIVE spec with my budget. After i make some research on WAPCAR,FACEBOOK and GOOGLE,i found that the spec between EXCECUTIVE SPEC and PREMIUM SPEC is so much different and not worthy to get the EXCECUTIVE spec.

For the NISSAN ALMERA, body design and 1.0 turbo is very attractive to me.

After i went to the showroom, I feel very disappoint to the interior of ALMERA. The design and the material is little bit out of fashion and the aftersales service is one of the point to make me stop thinking about this car.

TOYOTA VIOS 's body design is normal for me but ok lah still acceptable.

Interior design of VIOS is boring and the engine sound is totally same as NCP150 VIOS 3RD GEN & NCP93 2ND GEN, looks like i am driving the same old car.

After few days of thinking , i choose the HONDA CITY GN2 which is look very good at body design although that is not number 1 in my list but is good enough for me. Interior design for CITY is number 1 for me which is looks good , comfortable and the quality is so premium .

Good power blue earth engine with very good fuel efficiency

User experience:

•   I have already done 9800 km.

My average fuel consumption is 1L / 12KM

•   Since the purchase, my thoughts about the car are

During this 9000 plus km of driving , the car is very worthy for the price. The handling of the car is solid enough compare to GM6 .

The engine power is good and the respond is very light and high fuel efficiency which is a good thing to praise.

The room size is big enough to carry the 5 adult in one time and the leather seat is luxury enough and very comfortable.

But due to a little bit fastback design . head room of rear passengers is very limited and sometimes will hit the roof when the car is bumping.

For the LED HEADLAMP is very bright but is not too focus like projector headlamp. So sometimes i will feel a little bit blur when i drive in very dark road condition and make me feel unconfident.

Pros of my car:

-Powerful engine with high fuel efficiency

-BLACK MANTA leather seat is very comfortable and luxury

-Interior design and material is very good

-Honda Safety is very complete

Cons of my car:

-Soundproof is not so good

-Rear passenger head room is limited

-LED headlamp is not focus enough

-no Blind sport monitoring

Ratings:

Total Score: 5

Performance: 4

Quality & Features: 4

Space: 5

Ride Comfort: 5

Fuel Economy: 5

Price & Cost: 5

Summary

After i spend few months with my lovely car, i am still thankful and not regret to buy this HONDA CITY GN2 V SENSING.

Although there is some point Honda can do better, but this is good enough compare to the other brand with same price tag.

If you are looking for the car with 90k budget and comprehensive, i think this gen of CITY GN2 is very suitable for you.

Interesting event(s)

The first day i get the car from my SC the car is already start the engine but the engine is very silent and didn't come with any vibration when the gear is in position P and N. Then i don't know the engine is on and i push my key to start the engine again, the engine is screaming and a terrible sound is came out.
