Compared with the Q2, Q3 and Q5, the front of the Q7 looks normal and modest. It doesn’t focus too much on the sporty appearance. The vehicle is very big and the proportion looks pretty balanced.

Engine

The Audi Q7 has used a V6 petrol engine with direct fuel injection and mechanical supercharger, this engine has a max output of 333hp @ 5500-6500rpm and a max torque of 440Nm @ 2900-5300rpm.

The refined engine is paired with an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox.

Drive System

The Q7 is an all-wheel-drive SUV.

From Audi’s report, this 2-ton SUV can do the 0-100km/h within 6.3 seconds!

Engine Performance

The car is big and heavy but the torque parameter doesn’t seem economic, the 2900rpm max torque means you need to push the vehicle to 3000rpm to reach the top torque.

Transmission

The 8-speed gearbox works better than the 7-speed, it’s more fluent and comfortable.

Steering and Handling

At low rev, maybe somebody would think the steering of the Q7 is a little bit heavy but at high speed, it feels light and nimble.

The noise isolation of the car is very impressive and this is a premium luxury SUV.

Passenger Comfort

The feeling of the seats is comfortable and the space is flexible.

Fuel Consumption

According to the authoritative data of Audi, the mileage of the Q7 is 7.9l/100km.

As a premium and high-end SUV, the Q7 has done a good job. It chooses the luxury and abandons some sporty element to make the car more gorgeous and this is a very nice balance. However, some people think it would be better if Audi has a better engine.
