In response to the burgeoning demand in the used car market, Honda Malaysia is expanding their Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC) network, setting up an additional 32 sales hubs nationwide. This significant expansion aims to meet the increasing number of customers seeking pre-owned Honda vehicles or looking to trade in their current ones. HCUC services are available in the company's showrooms across the country since 2022. Vehicles under the HCUC banner have been given a comprehensive 288-point ins

Since 2020, the Royal Malaysia Police Force (PDRM) has been using the last-generation Honda Civic FC for patrolling duties. The Malaysian 5-0 uses the base Civic S which is powered by a naturally aspirated (NA) 1.8-litre i-VTEC (145 PS/175 Nm) but as seen in this photo, it looks like the current generation FE will be added to its arsenal. Based on the set of images shared by The Ajerul on their Facebook page, the units of Civics seen on the trailer near Simpang Ampat appeared to be the base vari

Honda Malaysia announced today that it has achieved its annual sales target for 2023, surpassing 80,000 units in total sales. It’s previewed one year ahead of its market launch, but American Honda Motor showed it anyway. This is the new mildly facelifted 2025 Honda Civic. The model shown here is a North American market model, so there will still be some minor differences from our Malaysian market model, especially the headlamps. North American market models have amber lenses, to comply with local regulations. Compared to the current, outgoing model, the 2025 Honda Civic has a rather Acura-esque front grille and bumper.

Honda’s RS badge has often been mistaken for its high-performance-sounding initials. RS here does not mean “Rushing Speed” or “Racing Sports” but rather the less enthusiastic-sounding Road Sailing. To sail or glide along the road doesn’t exactly sound macho compared to the Type R or even the SiR badges that would be placed on other performance-oriented Hondas but the RS badge is an important one. It was first applied half a century ago on the first-generation Civic and turned the friendly-lookin

At today’s opening of the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon, Honda presented its Honda Civic RS prototype. Not to be confused with the RS e:HEV hybrid sedan sold by Honda Malaysia, this RS is based on the Civic Hatchback, the same body used by the Type R. More importantly, this RS hatchback has a 6-speed manual transmission, just like the Type R. The display model is still a prototype, but Honda says the model will go into production in the third quarter of 2024, and it will slot between the regular 1.5-lit

Since July 2023, dealers across Malaysia have shared their concern that order taking for new cars has slowed down considerably. This is despite the fact that data compiled by the Malaysia Automotive Association showed that August and October were among its best ever months this year. However, those figures are fulfillment of orders made months earlier, and are not a reliable indicator of present demand. RHB Research is projecting a sharp 14 percent decrease in 2024’s total industry volume – the

Japan’s tenth automotive manufacturer, Mitsuoka, builds eccentric-looking models on existing cars. The likes of the Mazda MX-5, Toyota RAV4, and Toyota Yaris have been transformed into something completely different and their latest victim model is based on the Honda Civic. For now, the Mitsuoka M55 is still a concept with no plans for production. The name is in celebration of the quirky carmaker’s 55th anniversary having been founded in 1968 as a workshop and dealer specialising in European car
