The fuel consumption of the Honda Civic is 4 L/100km (the most fuel-efficient), and the highest fuel consumption is 6.3 L/100km.
Fuel consumption is most intuitively measured as the fuel required to travel a unit distance, which is known as L/100 kilometers.
Here are the fuel consumption for Honda Civic cars, according to Honda official:
The fuel consumption of 2022 Honda Civic 1.5 RS is 6.3 L/100km.
The fuel consumption of 2022 Honda Civic e:HEV 2.0L RS is 4 L/100km.
The fuel consumption of 2022 Honda Civic 1.5 E is 6 L/100km.
The fuel consumption of 2022 Honda Civic 1.5 V is 6 L/100km.
Fuel economy, as the inverse of fuel consumption is another common indicator, which is calculated as the distance traveled per unit of fuel, such as kilometers/liter or miles/gallon.
The fuel consumption of a car mainly depends on its power technology and size. These variables include:
1. Road, traffic and weather conditions
2. Driving style
3. Vehicle speed, load and condition
The following formula is used to calculate fuel consumption in liters/100km, which is the most commonly used measure of fuel consumption.
(Liters used × 100) ÷km traveled = litres per 100 kilometers.

It’s previewed one year ahead of its market launch, but American Honda Motor showed it anyway. This is the new mildly facelifted 2025 Honda Civic. The model shown here is a North American market model, so there will still be some minor differences from our Malaysian market model, especially the headlamps. North American market models have amber lenses, to comply with local regulations. Compared to the current, outgoing model, the 2025 Honda Civic has a rather Acura-esque front grille and bumper.
