At the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon, which is set to happen from 14- to 16-January, Daihatsu will be showcasing two modified examples of the Daihatsu Rocky e:Smart Hybrid.
The first is called the Rocky Premium Version, which gets a slick silver paintjob with contrasting blue highlights. The blue paint is applied to various parts of the exterior, including the front fog light housing, body cladding, side mirrors, and roof. According to Daihatsu, the Rocky Premium Version is supposed to be a “cool premium compact SUV that suits the city”.

But if the premium looks aren’t what you’re after, perhaps the second Rocky would be a better fit. Called the Rocky Crossfield Version, it gets matte black trim pieces in place of the Rocky Premium Version’s blue trim pieces. There’s also a Yakima roof rack and mud flaps for that added off-road looks.
