Prices confirmed for 2022 Honda City Hatchback RS e:HEV in Malaysia - RM107,783

Honda Malaysia has confirmed the price of the 2022 City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant. When the City Hatchback was launched in December 2021, price of the RS e:HEV variant was not announced. 

The new hybrid (HEV) B-segment hatchback is priced from RM 107,783.

Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Madoka Chujo said, “We launched the All-New City Hatchback in December 2021 and the response from Malaysians have been overwhelming. To-date, we have collected more than 5,200 bookings. As mentioned during the launch, we are pleased to announce the price of the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant today, at RM107,783.09,”

She adds, “We are confident that the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV will set the benchmark in the market with its complete package of stylish RS exterior, e:HEV powertrain, Honda Sensing and advanced telematics Honda CONNECT. It will be an attraction to customers especially the younger audience.”

The Honda City Hatchback RS e:HEV is powered by a 1.5-litre Sports intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) powertrain and coupled with Electric Continuous Variable Transmission (e-CVT). The powertrain delivers 109 PS and segment leading 253 Nm of torque equivalent to a D-segment Naturally Aspirated engine torque performance.

The RS e:HEV variant’s advanced 2-motor hybrid system regulates between three driving modes: EV, Hybrid and Engine drive modes, that will switch alternately in accordance to the driving conditions of the driver.

The All-New City Hatchback is designed to be an ‘Energetic Hatchback’ and the exclusive RS e:HEV variant adds a sporty impression to it. This variant comes with Gloss Black - Front Grill, Solid Wing and Door Mirrors, to give a two-toned body colour expression.

The RS e:HEV exclusive shape is featured in the areas of Lower Grill, Fog Garnish and Rear Bumper. This variant comes with LED Headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED Front Fog Lights, Tailgate Spoiler and LED Rear Combi Lights.

Along the flanks, 16-inch alloy wheels on the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant further complements the sleek appearance of the hatchback.

Semi-digital instrument cluster is an RS exclusive feature

The interior styling of the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV features sporty with stylish red-stitched Ultrasuede Seats. The variant also features 7-inch Interactive Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Meter that provides easy access to information according to the driver’s needs. The 8-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity provides convenience and personalised functionality while driving. Meanwhile, the Rear Air Conditioning Ventilation is a dsfirst-in-segment feature for the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV.
