Having launched with estimated prices exactly a month ago, Honda Malaysia has now confirmed prices for the 2022 Honda City Hatchback in Malaysia – at least for the S, E, V variants.
Prices for the hybrid City Hatchback RS e:HEV will be announced at a later date.

With a range like this, the City Hatchback is more expensive than the Toyota Yaris across the board. For comparison, the Yaris range starts from RM 70,940 (1.5 J) before topping out at RM 84,808 for the 1.5 G.
The locally-assembled model (CKD Pegoh, Melaka) replaces the Honda Jazz in our region, but keeps its popular, multi-way foldable Ultra seats – a standard fitment across all four variants.
Three out of the four variants are powered by a regular combustion engine, with the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated mill paired to a CVT automatic. Power output from the DOHC i-VTEC four-pot is 121 PS, with 145 Nm of torque.
The yet-to-be-priced RS will port over the City RS Sedan's dual-motor Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) hybrid powertrain, which sees its 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle i-VTEC engine (98 PS & 127 Nm) mated to an electric motor (108 PS and 253 Nm).
Honda Sensing is available, but that so far remains an RS-exclusive feature. Besides the requisite passive safety functions, the S and E variants get 4 airbags, while the V and RS bumps that up to 6.
Hard and fast numbers aside, we've taken both the regular and petrol-electric City Hatchbacks out for a spin already, and you can read them as linked below. Meanwhile, the cars are now available for viewing at Honda showrooms nationwide.
