2024 Honda City Hatchback: After the sedan's launch, these are the estimated price increases

The recently launched 2023 Honda City sedan Facelift refreshes the company's top-selling model with a host of styling updates, improved creature comforts and inclusion of the Honda Sensing ADAS suite as standard now.
Of course, the new additional features and currency fluctuations have resulted in price increases across all variants. Therefore it is reasonable to assume its sibling, the Honda City Hatchback (HB) will also see similar price increases at launch, expected in early 2024.
Based on calculations of the percentage price increases of the Honda City sedan, let us estimate the prices of the upcoming 2024 City HB facelift model.
Note that the previous V Sensing variant has been replaced by the V Sensing RS variant now, so calculations are omitted.
2023 Honda City FL sedan price percentage increase
Having calculated the percentage increases of the four variants that have pre- and post-facelift prices - namely the S, E, V and RS - we can estimate the prices of the upcoming Honda City HB Facelift models.
Of course, it remains to be seen if Honda Malaysia will retain the same variants, or introduce new ones, as in the case of the City sedan. For now though, here are our estimated prices:

There you have it, with percentage increases from the 2023 City Sedan applied, this could be the estimated prices of the upcoming 2024 City HB variants in Malaysia.

Following the introduction of the City sedan facelift in various ASEAN markets, the 2024 City HB facelift model has already been spied testing in Thailand.
Based on camouflaged sections of the prototypes, the breadth of updates seems to closely follow the City sedan, with redesigned front- and rear bumpers, and new wheels as well.
The City Hatchback facelift's Honda Sensing ADAS array should also gain Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN). Higher-up variants stand to have Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (LSF) if they mimic the City sedan's updates.
To recap, the current 2023 Honda City hatchback is offered in five variants across two powertrain options - the (121 PS/145 Nm) 1.5-litre 4-cyl i-VTEC and (109 PS / 253 Nm) 1.5 i-MMD 4-cyl dual-motor hybrid.

Thai media pegs for the City Hatchback facelift to only make its debut later this year, thus is reasonable to assume that Malaysia will receive the City HB facelift early in 2024.
Following introductions of the City sedan facelift and all-new Honda WR-V so far, the 2023 Honda CR-V is expected to follow next. The fourth model, as predicted by us, is the 2023 Honda Civic Type R, expected towards the tail end of 2023.
