Honda Malaysia sets 95,000 unit sales goal for 2024, to introduce 2 new models - City Hatchback FL almost certain

Today, Honda Malaysia unveiled its business roadmap for 2024, including a 95,000-unit sales goal for 12.8% market share in our market.
The goal also includes the introduction of two new models, one of which could be the Honda City Hatchback facelift.

Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia, remarked, "Despite the anticipated challenges in the automotive industry in 2024, Honda Malaysia remains steadfast in its pursuit of elevating success to new heights this year, building upon our notable accomplishments in 2023."
These achievements notably include retaining the top position in the Non-National Passenger Vehicle Segment for the tenth consecutive year since 2014, and surpassing last year's sales target of 80,000 units despite the hurdles faced in 2023. The introduction of the WR-V, City, and CR-V played a pivotal role in these successes, garnering significant market acceptance upon their launches," he said.

Mr. Yoshimura further expressed appreciation for the support of customers, dealers, and the Malaysian Government, emphasising their unwavering trust in the Honda brand.
In 2024, Honda Malaysia aims to reinforce its presence in the market through the promotion of its e:HEV hybrid technology, which took home 28% market share of the overall hybrid sales in 2023.
Meanwhile, the company will also be introducing more initiatives; things like expanded sales campaigns, promotion of Honda Insurance Plus packages, and ramping up its efforts in the used car market. On the latter, Honda Malaysia plans to expand its Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC) network to 32 sales hubs nationwide, providing customers with a platform to purchase verified, pre-owned Honda vehicles or trade-in their existing ones.
A special campaign will be held across all 32 sales hubs from 16- to 18-March 2024, featuring exciting activities and offering rebates of up to RM1,000 for customers.
Regarding after-sales services, Honda Malaysia remains committed to upgrading Honda Service Centres to One-Stop Centres, prioritizing customer convenience.
