Mamak Talk
Has anyone used LOKATAG before? Is it really better than Smart Tag or just a gimmick? Because from what I read on paper it doesn't look like an upgrade compared to Smart Tag.

Roughly 7 months after it was launched in Malaysia, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has quietly increased the price of the 2022 Volkswagen Arteon R-Line facelift.
The swanky fastback is now RM 9,000 dearer, which pushes the Arteon’s price to RM 258,019. The price is on-the-road, and includes the sale and service tax (SST) exemption, valid till 30-June 2022.

Despite the price hike, the rest of the Arteon remains unchanged. Motivation comes from a turbocharged 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that does 280 PS and 350 Nm, mated to a 7-speed wet-type dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Courtesy of its 4Motion all-wheel drive system, the century sprint is dispatched in just 5.8 seconds, not too far off its claimed 5.6-second figure.

Visually, the facelifted Arteon gets a restyled front bumper, new headlights and tail lights. The 19-inch ‘Montevideo’ wheels are carried over from the pre-facelift model, wrapped in 245/40R19 tyres.
Moving inside, changes are a little bit more apparent. Gone are the physical knobs for the air-conditioning controls, now replaced with a touch-sensitive sliding unit.
