Opinions on the volkswagen arteon r-line? Volkswagen horror stories? (if any). How about after sale service?

Barely a few months since the 2020 Volkswagen Arteon R-Line was launched in Malaysia, we now have spy photos of the upcoming 2021 Volkswagen Arteon facelift spotted in Pahang - courtesy of our friends at Careta.
Take a good look at it - that's the Arteon's unmistakeable silhouette. As with most facelifts, you can expect visual updates on the front and rear of the car.
Since we only got one variant - the R-Line - there's a high chance that will remain unchanged with this facelift.
Updates will be subtle in front, with changes mostly being on a resculptured front bumper and the grille now features less slats.
There was also a shot of more-obscured rear, but you don't have to keep guessing as there's tons of pictures out there that shows how it looks:
Changes at the back include restyled LED tail lights and a reworked lower bumper which gives off the impression of quad-tailpipes.
The Arteon was spotted in Kuantan, Pahang. VW has a plant in Pekan, and this points to the Arteon facelift being locally assembled (CKD) - much like the model we have now.
Speaking of CKD, another homegrown VW model coming soon to our shores is the 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8! Spotted in Putrajaya last month without any camo, it's the second time we've seen it - the first unit was caught on the way to Genting Highlands.
The Mk8 GTI is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 245 PS and 370 Nm. On our shores, it's most likely to be paired with the 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DSG).
