Kenapa mesin autopay menolak RM 1 anda? Ini sebabnya

Pernahkah anda terfikir mengapa RM 1 anda ditolak oleh mesin bayar sendiri (autopay)? Kebiasannya, duit yang lusuh, rosak dan koyak tidak diterima oleh mesin ini. Namun kadang kala, duit yang baru juga ditolak. Pernahkah anda mengalaminya?

Suatu teori baru telah tular di laman twitter yang mengatakan bahawa duit RM 1 yang ditolak adalah disebabkan oleh tandatangan yang berbeza. Ya, mesin autopay mengenalpasti tandatangan yang berbeza sebagai palsu.

Kerosakan rawak ini berpunca akibat daripada kegagalan pengusaha-pengusaha mesin autopay atau mesin layan diri (vending machine) mengemaskini perisian terbaru pada mesin-mesin mereka.

Masalah ini pertama kali dinyatakan oleh Aini, bekas jurutera perisian, sedang membeli minuman dari mesin layan diri di Taman Botani, Putrajaya. Dia terpaksa meminta bantuan tukang kebun untuk membeli minuman tersebut kerana mesin layan diri enggan menerimanya duitnya.

Pada masa itulah kakitangan Taman Botani memberitahunya bahawa mesin itu tidak menerima wang kertas yang baru dan hanya menerima wang kertas lama.

Berikutan ciapan itu, Haiqal Rosli telah memuat naik notis mesin autopay yang secara terang terangan menyatakan bahawa mesin tersebut hanya menerima wang kertas dengan tanda tangan Tan Sri Zeti Aziz sahaja.

Sebagai seorang bekas jurutera perisian, Aini turut menjelaskan bahawa terdapat tetapan yang perlu dikemaskini bagi membolehkan mesin-mesin ini menerima wang RM 1 dengan tanda tangan Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim.

Adakah ini bermakna, tandatangan gabernor terbaru, Datuk Nor Shamsiah binti Mohd Yunus juga bakal terkesan? Bagaimana pula dengan wang kertas RM 5 dan ke atas? Yang ini, ada sesiapa yang dah pernah cuba?
