MAA: Jualan kenderaan Julai 2022 turun 23 peratus berbanding Jun, tiada lagi pengecualian cukai SST

Jualan kenderaan di Malaysia pada bulan Julai 2022 menyaksikan penurunan 23 peratus berbanding bulan Jun 2022.

Berdasarkan laporan Malaysia Automotive Association, hanya 48,922 unit kenderaan yang dihantar pada bulan Julai 2022 berbanding penghantaran rancak sebanyak 63,366 unit pada bulan sebelum.

Dari segi tahunan, terdapat peningkatan 48 peratus jualan kenderaan pada Julai 2022 berbanding bulan yang sama tahun lepas sekadar 7,499 unit sahaja.

Pengeluaran kenderaan pada bulan Julai 2022 pula juga menurun dengan 52,061 unit kenderaan di mana 48,002 unit adalah kenderaan persendirian dengan 4,059 unit kenderaan komersil.

Jualan keseluruhan bagi separuh pertama 2022 adalah sebanyak 380,595 unit. Angka ini agak positif bagi mencecah sasaran TIV sebanyak 630,000 unit setahun bagi 2022.

MAA dalam kenyataannya berkata, "Jumlah TIV yang sangat tinggi pada Jun 2022 adalah kerana kebanyakan syarikat kereta memenuhi tempahan yang diterima sebelum 30 Jun 2022, di mana ia merupakan hari terakhir tempoh insentif pengecualian cukai jalan SST tamat."

Selain itu, beberapa pengeluar masih dilanda masalah kekurangan bekalan cip dan semikonduktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah pengeluaran kenderaan yang rendah.

Hanya Perodua sahaja pengeluar yang mengumumkan bahawa bekalan komponen mereka sudah cukup untuk memenuhi tempahan sehingga habis 2022.

Bulan Julai 2022 turut menyaksikan pelancaran beberapa model baharu iaitu Honda HR-V generasi baharu, Perodua Alza generasi baharu, trak pikap Ford Ranger generasi baharu, model kenderaan elektrik Mercedes-Benz EQS dan EQC serta akhir sekali Kia Carnival 7-penumpang CKD Malaysia.

Jualan pada bulan Ogos dijangka akan mengikuti paras jualan bulanan Julai 2022 ini.
