Following the concept preview in October, the fourth-generation all-new Suzuki Swift now makes its world debut, bringing forth a refreshed design, new powertrain, and updated ADAS features. The major highlight is the newly developed 'Z12E' 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine which is aided by a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system for increased torque and better fuel efficiency. The engine will be made available with a CVT-type automatic first and – Oh joy of joys – a 5-speed manual transmission, slated to follow

  • New 2024 Suzuki Swift concept - A familiar face with a new look and some mild hybrid motivation

A concept in all but name, the Suzuki Swift concept is pretty much ready for showrooms as it previews the new fourth generation of the little hot hatch that’s set for a launch in 2024. The concept nomenclature aside, the car looks like a production model and has a inline-3 cylinder engine with a mild hybrid system. Like all concepts, the numbers aren’t set in stone yet but the little stand next to it indicates the inline-3 will have VVT and the aforementioned mild-hybrid system but is unfortunat

At the upcoming 2023 Japan Mobility Show, formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show, Suzuki announced that it will be unveiling a whopping 11 concepts for the first time but one which piqued our interest the most is the Suzuki Swift Concept. • Suzuki's return to Malaysia: what other models could be launched here?

It has been a very Suzuki-focused week recently. News of the Japanese marque returning to Malaysia was confirmed in early-April, followed by the launch of the 2021 Suzuki Swift Sport here. But the Swift Sport and the soon-to-be-launched Jimny are not mainstream models. Far from it, really, as the two are there to build the Suzuki brand image in Malaysia, less so about capturing massive sales. For Naza Eastern Motors to have a chance of succeeding in Malaysia, they need to sell models that have a
