Cooler than Yaris? Modulo bodykit jazzes up 2021 Honda City Hatchback!

If you're part of the former - maybe the Modulo kit seen here will change your mind. Making its global debut in Thailand earlier this week, the City Hatchback revives a nameplate that was last seen in 1994.

From this angle, you can't tell the difference between this and the sedan.

Modulo's treatment here isn't entirely dissimilar to the set on the four-door. Sure, the front lip and side skirts look pretty much the same as they are on the sedan, but the rest of the package is unique to the hatch.

The wheels are as standard, but customers now have a choice to add a red or blue highlight to one spoke (Lynk & Co. 06, anybody?).

It's the back where it really stands out - the additions of lower bumper extensions and an extended tailgate spoiler makes the City Hatchback look lower than it is.

Since it's an entirely cosmetic package, there are no upgrades to the powertrain. Still, the 1.0-litre, DOHC VTEC turbo three-cylinder engine makes a not-too-shabby 122 PS and 173 Nm of torque, paired to a CVT.

Details of the Modulo accessories on the City hatch.

The City Hatchback debuted alongside the City e:HEV (known as the City RS here). Like the Malaysian-spec RS, the e:HEV is powered by the i-MMD two-motor full hybrid system

Specs aside, both cars have been attracting lots of comments about their colours - most notably the e:HEV's Obsidian Blue Pearl and the Hatchback's Sonic Grey Pearl.

When the City Hatchback comes to Malaysia, we're likely getting the 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated four-cylinder (L15ZE) engine that's already powering our local-spec sedan. That aside, you can expect the same bodykit to be offered here as our City already has it.

Oops... Something broke.

Toyota's Kinto is getting bored, finds a way to make the AH30 Alphard and Vellfire sliding doors close faster

You know how some cars can be truly fantastic except for one minor detail that you just canโ€™t overlook and it ends up ruining the entire driving experience. It could be a terrible head unit or a bad seating position. Well, some of the engineers at Toyotaโ€™s Kinto subscription service thought that could be the abysmally slow speed of the sliding doors on the previous AH30 generation of the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. Either that or they must be getting really bored over there. Or someone has secr
