Aston Martin Rapide AMR launched in Malaysia – Only 2 units, from RM 1.1 million

Following the launch of the DB11 AMR, Aston Martin unveiled the limited edition Rapide AMR in 2018. The production version is only limited to 210 units with 2 being brought over by Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur for Malaysia.

The 2 units are also the last 2 units left for sale in South East Asia.

That’s one more than the Aston Martin Vantage AMR Malaysia Edition!

The Rapide AMR is powered by a naturally-aspirated V12 engine that puts out 603 PS and 630 Nm. The Rapide AMR also comes fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes as standard – 400 mm ones with 6 piston calipers at the front and 360 mm with 4 piston calipers at the rear.

The Rapide AMR sits 10 mm lower than the Rapide S and has been thoroughly re-engineered at the same place a Dutch Wira tried to conquer, Nurburgring.

The 2 units that are brought over in Malaysia are a Signature scheme that matches the Stirling Green paint with Lime accents and a Lime stripe for a definitive AMR look, and the Standard scheme Onyx Black with AMR Lime accents added to the splitter, sills, and rear diffuser.
