Bermaz Motor launched an updated Mazda 3 today. There is no change in styling, but the list of features has been expanded. The updates are focused on improving the infotainment and driving aids, more on those later.
The biggest change in the updated 2023 Mazda 3’s range in Malaysia is that the base 1.5-litre variant has been dropped. With this, the entry point to the Mazda 3 family is the 2.0-litre High Sedan variant.
Like many other recent models, prices have been adjusted upwards, a reflection of the high inflation that’s experienced not just in Malaysia, but also in Japan.
Prices of the new 2023 Mazda 3’s range in Malaysia are as below:

CTS is a lane centreing function for traffic jams on highways (less than 55 km/h). CTS should not be confused with Lane Keep Assist, which provides steering assistance when a car veers off its lane, but does not keep the car in the middle of its lane.
Ignite Edition gets an exclusive 12-speaker Bose audio system.
As before, the Mazda 3 is imported (CBU) from Japan. Like all Mazda passenger cars sold by Bermaz Motor, the 2023 Mazda 3 is covered by a 5-year warranty and 5-year free service. Unlike other brands, Mazda’s free service offer is as what it claims, covering not just labour but also parts and lubricants.
A total of 7 exterior colour options are available – Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Polymetal Gray, Platinum Quartz, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black, and Snowflake White Pearl.
