Engine

CX-9 has 2 variants and both of them use the same engine, which is a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 Litre Turbo In-Line 4 Cylinder 16 Valve DOHC engine, delivering 228hp @ 5000rpm and 420Nm @ 2000rpm.

Transmission

Their gearbox is the same too, it’s a SKYACTIV DRIVE 6-Speed Automatic with Manual Shift Mode.

One of the versions is 2WD and another one is AWD.

Acceleration

With such torque, the CX-9 can speed up very fast and this makes you forget it’s a very big SUV.
