Aston Martin Vanguish – Overview

The Aston Martin Vanquish is one of the loveliest things on four wheels and the British brand's grandest grand tourer. Its powerful appearance is available in coupe or convertible which Aston calls Volante and every Vanquish features a ferocious and sonorous V-12 engine that compares with its rivals Ferrari 812 Superfast, Lamborghini Aventador and McLaren 570S.

Produced at Aston Martin's bespoke engine facility in Cologne, engineers worked tirelessly to create an engine worthy of a new flagship model. The process delivered clear technical advances with the debut of dual variable valve timing, enlarged throttle bodies, fully machined combustion chambers and a ‘big wing’ intake manifold.

The revolutionary Carbon Ceramic Matrix braking technology reduced brake fade and improved heat dissipation. Improving handling and driver feel this silicon-injected carbon fibre was an incredible 12kg lighter than equivalent steel discs and included specifically developed tyres.

The Aston Martin Vanguish external panel was made from aerospace standard carbon fiber, essential in crafting the pure surfaces and maintaining the precision used to create such a beautiful design. This made the body 25% lighter than DBS. It has a bold exterior that flaunts the iconic Aston Martin aluminium front grille at its exterior with an exposed carbon fibre skirt and Aero Dust boot lid with a rear spoiler to control the airflow. 

The single bi-xenon headlamps with LED side lights and direction indicators with LED light blade tail lamps to give the best visibility of the site even in dark. Chrome side strakes and tailpipe trim and Titanium bonnet and side strake meshes to give it a complete look with its front and rear wheel size of 255/35 ZR20.

The Aston Martin Vanquish's interior impresses with a fashionable design and luxurious materials, the embodiment of Aston Martin. Interior that struck the perfect balance between intimacy and comfort. Hand stitched leather interior along with three million combinations in leather and finishes. The black gearshift paddles with colour keyed leather trim and laminated windscreen with clear noise-insulation layer is employed in the vehicle and 368 litres of boot space. 

Alcantara headlining is provided on Coupe and Rokona and Alcantara headlining is given in the Volante variants.
It comes with memory front seats &exterior mirrors (three memory positions), glass ECU, heated front seats, heated rear screen and power fold exterior heated mirrors for the convenience of the passengers. The automatic temperature control and cruise control feature makes it easy for the passengers to drive to a length with best comfort.

The Aston Martin Vanguish is equipped with dual stage driver and passenger front airbags, curtain side head airbags and pelvis and thorax seat mounted airbags, seat belt dual pre-tensioners and digressive load limiters. Security features of anti-theft alarm and Immobilizer systems of this vehicle make sure that it stays safe from any theft. 

Tyre pressure monitoring traction control, emergency brake assist, ABS, Positive Torque Control and Hydraulic Brake Assist are employed. Front & rear parking sensors are also embedded in this vehicle for safe parking.

The Aston Martin Vanguish is equipped with a 6.5-inch screen and no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto capability. Still, it aims to keep the focus on driver enjoyment and personalization with its 1000 W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 13-speaker audio system.

The Aston Martin Vanguish is powered by a naturally aspirated 5,935 cc V12 All-Alloy, Independent Quad Variable Camshaft Timing, 48-Valve, 568 BHP at 6,650 RPM with 630 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM.  The Aston Martin Vanguish rear mid-mounted ‘Touchtronic III’ eight-speed automatic gearbox with electronic shift-by-wire control system. 

The Aston Martin Vanguish front suspension independent double wishbone, coil springs, anti-roll bar and adaptive dampers, whereas the rear suspension independent double wishbones, coil springs, anti-roll bar and adaptive dampers. The Aston Martin Vanguish brawny engine funnels all that power exclusively to the rear wheels.
