Having skipped Malaysia, the 2024 Honda Accord has now sailed into Thailand, previewed for the market earlier today. Taking on the Toyota Camry in a market segment that only has the two of them competing against each other, the 11th generation Accord comes with a whole lot of newness.
Three variants will be on offer, but they'll all be hybrid-only. The range and their estimated prices are as follows:
As such, the star under the hood this time is a 2.0-litre petrol engine (147 PS/182 Nm) mated to dual electric motors (184 PS/335 Nm) โ similar to what's in the CR-V. Combined system output of the e:HEV system is 207 PS with a claimed fuel consumption of 25 km/l.
Besides the powertrain, the all-new Accord is also longer than its predecessor; despite skimming the wheelbase by 2 mm. Here's how they measure:
2024 11th gen Honda Accord vs 10th gen | ||
---|---|---|
Measurement/Model | 11th-gen Accord | 10th-gen Accord |
Length (mm) | 4,962 | 4,894 |
Width (mm) | 1,862 | 1,862 |
Height (mm) | 1,449 | 1,450 |
Wheelbase (mm) | 2,828 | 2,830 |
Despite the new sleek looks drawing equal amounts praise and criticism, the new Accord aims for a more elegant tact courtesy of liberal use of gloss black exterior trim, and a subtle bootlid spoiler for the RS.

17-inch wheels are standard fitment, while going up the variant range will net buyers 18-inch rims. Not much changes beyond this for the exterior, for it's the interior that's the place to be...
Leather seats are standard, and so are electronically-adjustable units for the driver (with memory function) and front passenger. The Thailand car follows the Japan-spec one; which means the roundel in the middle controls things like the dual-zone air-conditioner and heater controls, as well as doubling as a clock.

Creature comforts include sunshades on the rear windows, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, wireless phone charger, and a Bose 12-speaker sound system. The 12.3-inch central infotainment screen controls wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in addition to built-in Google ecosystem applications.
There's also a 10.2-inch fully-digital instrument cluster, Honda Connect telematics, over-the-air updates, and USB Type-C charging ports at the front and back.
The mid-range EL adds black roofliner inside, 7-colour ambient lighting, an air purification system, and an 11.5-inch head-up display (HUD).

At the peak of the range, the RS, buyers will get cornering lights on the outside (along with sequential LED turn signals), illuminating door handles, and gloss black accoutrements on the exterior. Inside, it gains a panoramic glass roof, silver framing for the air vents, red stitching on the seats, Honda's Smart Key card, and an active noise cancelling (ANC) system.
Besides the customary 8 airbags and other passive safety system, Honda Sensing is made standard on the Accord. The front monocular camera now has expanded field of view (120 degrees), while these make up the rest of the safety suite:
Four colours will be made available for the sedan, namely Platinum White, Lunar Silver, Meteoroid Grey, and Crystal Black. Prices above are still estimates, and a finalised launch date hasn't been ascertained just yet.
