Urgent question - How much spare fuel does a Dzire hold when it goes to that fuel warning indicator?
There is no specific reserve for cars. It usually has around 3 - 4 liters once it touches the ‘E’ mark in the fuel indicator.
That yellow signal is for reserve. And generally reserve tank has 5lt. of fuel.
Shamelessly copied answer That fuel gauge is a very crude indicator and does not really has a liter by liter mapping. Generally you should tank up before it has touched the E mark. At E mark you are really flying on a wing and a prayer, so to say. I think after the E mark, there will be around 4-5L remaining. So you are filling some 37-38 Liters in your Dzire.
Hi, Well this is a competitive comparison. Here in this answer I am taking both the cars of diesel variant with manual transmission. I have mentioned all the matching and special features of both the cars. Firstly, Dzire has bigger market than the Amaze. Also, Amaze has arrived few years back where Dzire is leading market from a long time. So, lets start with the comparison of both of these sedan cars and find out the best one. Variants used are Dzire ZDI Plus and Amaze 1.5 VX i-DTEC. There is not big difference in dimensions of these cars. Displacement :, Honda Amaze comes with 1498cc Diesel engine which produces 99 BHP of power at 3600 RPM and 200 NM of torque at 1750 RPM. Dzire comes with a smaller 1248cc diesel engine which produces 70 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 190 NM of torque at 2000 RPM. ,Here Honda Amaze is a better engine with more power and torque. Fuel Efficiency ,: Honda Amaze offers 27.4 Kmpl (ARAI Claimed) mileage where Dzire offers little more 28.4 Kmpl (ARAI Claimed) mileage. ,In fuel efficiency, Dzire slightly wins here. Transmission, : Both of the cars are having 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Drive, : Both the cars are Front Wheel Drive. AC, : Both the cars equipped with Automatic Climate Control. Dzire offers rear AC vents where Amaze is lacking rear AC Vents. ,So, Dzire has better Air Conditioning. Power Windows ,: All are power windows in both the cars. Lock & Security ,: All features are same in both of the cars. Dzire offers you central locking with remote where Amaze having normal central locking. ,Dzire leads here,. Safety, : Front safety point of view, both the cars are having Dual airbags for drive and co-driver. Convinience and Comfort, : Steering tilt is available in both the cars, Both offers power start button. There are 2 12V power outlet available in Dzire where Amaze has only one. Here Dzire also has Headlight off and lgnition Key Off Reminder. Cruise Control ,: Drize is lacking cruise control where ,Amaze is offering you Cruise Control feature,. Parking Assistance :, Both the cars are having rear parking sensors. Both of the cars are having Reverse parking camera where ,Amaze also offers you Reverse camera with parking guidance,. Other Features :, Both of the cars are offering Adjustable ORVM, Turn Indicators on ORVM, Rear Defogger. ,Dzire offers a special feature of Boot Lid opening with Remote, where Amaze has only internal remote lid opening function. Lighting ,: Both the cars are having LED Headlamps, ,Dzire offers more in this segment with Follow me home headlamps and DRLs,. Both the cars are having Fog Lamps in front. ,Dzire is having LED tail lamps, where Amaze has conventional tail lamps. Both the cars are having headlights height adjuster. Dzire scores on the following fuel efficiency, larger tyres 185/65 R15 compared to 175/65 R15 of Amaze. Bigger alloys in Dzire Dzire is Loaded with additional Feaures like Air quality control, height adjustable front seat belts, Rear AC vents, Smart access, gear shift indicator, Brake assist, Automatic headlamps, tinted glass, Faster acceleration 12.6 seconds Dzire is Broader and taller for more roominess
Switching on AC does increase fuel consumption. And so does the higher than lower. But if you are driving on highway without frequent stops, acceleration switching on AC have very minimal effect on fuel mileage. At full spees you may see decrease in mileage by upto 2kmpl. It is advised to keep AC in between or at number 2 not at 4. In city driving you can expect a noticeable drop in mileage. Our dzire on city/hill driving in Jaipur gave mileage of around 17kmpl. On highway with 4 passengers & stuff fully loaded with AC on gives around 24kmpl. Driving alone without stuff & AC on or not at highway driving at decent speed of 80 to 90kmph gives 27kmpl & many times 30kmpl.
Thanks for A2A. TUV300 T8 belongs to SUV segment while the Elite i20 Asta belongs to hatchback segment. So, its completely unfair to compare them. Still, for your satisfactions, I would do that. Mahindra TUV300 Mahindra TUV is a 7 seater car. It has an amazing ground clearance of 184mm. It also gets a larger boot space. Coming to its engine, it is powered by a mHawk 1.3L turbocharged diesel engine which produces 100 bhp power and 240 Nm torque. With this, it is claimed to give 18 kmpl. It has 5 speed MT system. In safety, it have just 2 airbags with ABS and EBD. Disappointing is having a manual air conditioner, no reverse camera, no driver armrest storage and no cooled glove box. It has rear defogger with rear wiper as well. It misses the touchscreen display on the dashboard and gets 4 speakers only. It also shows analog tachometer, shift indicator, digital clock, low fuel level warning and average fuel consumption. It also gets the voice command and steering mounted controls. Being a Mahindra car, it can be used on rough roads and will be lesser in maintenance. Hyundai Elite i20 Hyundai Elite i20 is a 5 seater premium hatchback. Under the hood it gets a 1.4L turbocharged diesel engine, which produces 89 bhp power and 220 Nm torque. It has a 6-speed MT system and is claimed to give 22 kmpl mileage. Coming to safety and features, it too gets 2 airbags only with ABS but misses the EBD system. It gets automatic climate control AC and rear AC vents as well. It also has rear parking sensors with reverse camera. In the instrument cluster, it do show more informations like average speed, gear shift indicator, distance to empty and low fuel level warning. On the dashboard it gets a touchscreen display, GPS Navigation System and 6 speakers. It has steering mounted controls but misses the voice command. So, if you have a family with more than 5, you can go for TUV but if not Elite i20 is best. I have some more suggestions for you. If you need a 7 seater: MS Ertiga Renault Lodgy Mahindra Xylo Force Motors Gurkha Honda BR-V Mahindra Scorpio If you are ok with 5 seater: MS Baleno VW Polo MS Dzire MS Swift Hyundai i20 Active Honda Jazz Hope this helps. Thank You!!
That’s the temperature meter over there. It shows the temperature of engine in running and if it is below red mark then this indicates that your coolant is functioning properly and engine is not overheated. And about the three dots and car…. i think it’s shows your average speed during your journey or may be it is a DISTANCE TO EMPTY function showing that how much km your car would travel with amount of fuel you have right now. It is now a feature seen in most of the modern cars like TATA zest, Dzire, Figo, etc.
