Power is enough to keep drivers engaged. Power delivery is refined and linear, as one would expect from a direct injection naturally aspirated engine.

Cabin insulation is exceptional in the Mazda CX-30, with low levels of noise in general. Wind and tyre noise are well surpressed, though engine noise is quite audible when pushed.

Ride quality of the Mazda CX-30 is on the firmer side, but not to the point of being crashy over road imperfections. Experienced in isolation, it rides well enough but certainly not as supple compared to the likes of Subaru XV and Toyota Corolla Cross.

The front seats offer good back and thigh support, while the rear seats are well-sculptured as well, though the backrest is a little upright.
