During Perodua’s business review earlier today, the company has confirmed that they are capable of launching 2 facelift models and one brand-new model yearly.
Perodua also confirmed that the all-new 2022 Perodua Alza will be coming later this year. Production of the outgoing Alza will be extended to the end of April.

That leaves room for two facelift models to be launched later this year. Looking closer at Perodua’s current line-up, the two oldest model due for an update are the Perodua Axia and Perodua Aruz.
The Perodua Axia was last updated in 2019, whereby the affordable A-segment hatchback was fitted with the ASA AEB suite as well as the addition of stability control and the crossover-esque Style variant.

As for the Aruz, the model received a minor update last year, though changes are minimal at best, getting side steps and a new red colour in the process.
With all said, we could be looking at a 3-model launch by Perodua later this year. Excited yet?
