From RM 2.088 mil, 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance launched in Malaysia

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, the most powerful (yet) mass production vehicle by Mercedes-AMG at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023, priced from RM 2,088,888.

The hybrid system includes a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with a permanently excited synchronous electric motor, an AMG-developed high-performance battery, and the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system.

It generates a combined output of 843 PS and 1,400 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 316 km/h.

Deriving tech from their Formula 1 program, the battery is specifically designed for fast power delivery and draw to aid the internal combustion engine.

Mercedes claims an electric driving range of 12 km (WLTP cycle) from the 6.1 kWh battery; a unique β€œElectric” drive mode enables complete electric propulsion up to speeds of 130 km/h.

Charging is via the 3.7 kW onboard AC charger, at a charging station, wallbox or household socket.

Standard equipment includes the AMG Ride Control+ suspension with continuously adjustable pressure relief valves, AMG Dynamic Select drive programs, and the AMG Dynamics control system. It also has a ceramic high-performance compound brake system.

The GT 63S E Performance wears 21-inch AMG forged wheels finished in black, the AMG Night Package II, AMG Aerodynamics Package, and AMG Exterior Carbon package. The panoramic roof and AMG Performance seats in Exclusive nappa leather add to the overall aesthetic of the car.

Colour options include Manufaktur Kalahari Gold and AMG Green Hell Magno, Manufaktur Classic Grey Uni, Manufaktur Olive Metallic or Manufaktur Copper Orange Magno (matt version), as well as various leather colours for the interior.

In addition, there is a two-tone leather steering wheel, deep-pile floor mats with embroidered AMG lettering and decal sets in three colour variants for the side skirts.

As for advanced safety systems, the GT 63S E Performance gets the Driving Assistance Package with Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Steering Assist, and Active Parking Assist with Parktronic.
