和许多汽车制造商一样，Perodua也面临着供应链的严重中断问题，导致客户等待时间过长。成为大马的头号汽车品牌是一把双刃剑——由于Perodua的经营规模，所有优缺点都被放大到其他制造商很少面对的水平。

Perodua每年销售近25万辆汽车。2022年，该公司的目标是销售247,800辆汽车，尽管在获得足够的零部件来制造汽车方面仍面临挑战。全球半导体零件短缺、原材料成本上涨，以及大马特有的劳动力短缺，都是导致供应链中断的因素。

根据Edge最近的一份报告，Perodua有超过200,000个积压订单需要处理。该公司每月只能生产大约28,000辆汽车。

如果每月保持28,000辆的产量（由于季节性公共假期，这是一个巨大的挑战），仅清理积压订单就需要7个月以上，这还不包括新增的订单。

尽管如此，Perodua告诉商业媒体，它的目标是在2023年3月31日之前交付所有未完成的订单，这是获得SST豁免的截止日期（针对2022年6月30日或之前的订单）。

“2022年6月30日及之前预订的客户，请放心，他们将享受SST豁免政策。Perodua总裁兼CEO——Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad表示:“我们将尽最大努力赶上截止日期（2023年3月31日），现在的产能是每月28,000辆。

对Perodua经销商的检查显示，Perodua新车的平均等待时间约为6个月。

Perodua Aruz等车型的等待时间较短，约为4至5个月（视车型而定），但Perodua Bezza等车型的等待时间最长，超过6个月。

其他受欢迎的车型，如Perodua Myvi和Perodua Axia，等待时间约为5至6个月，具体取决于车型。
