Unlike the fully-imported (CBU) G60 i5 which was launched last November, the 520i is locally assembled (CKD) at the Kulim plant. The G60 BMW 5 Series features 48-volt mild-hybrid technology (MHEV) for its B48 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which outputs 208 PS and 330 Nm in the 520i.
