目前在ASEAN NCAP网页上，Proton Persona/Iriz的测试报告是基于2017年前的标准编写的，不过这两款车在该标准下同样取得了5星评分。
在2017-2020年标准下拿到了5星评分，这就意味着Proton Persona和Proton Iriz都已经追加了主动安全系统。2017年前的标准并不对AEB和盲区辅助之类的安全配备进行评估。
目前绝大部分B级的新车都搭载了高级安全配备，Persona和Iriz也是时候跟上潮流了。
我们还不知道2021 Proton Persona和Proton Iriz的外观会有什么变化，近期唯一曝光的是，只有以充满运动感的黄色点缀的Proton Iriz伪装车。
除了追加额外的安全配备外，Proton Persona和Proton Iriz很有可能都将采用传统的4速自排变速箱。
