尽管行动管制令（MCO）仍在生效，但对于即将上市的2021 Proton Iriz跨界版和2021 Proton Persona的开发工作，Proton却不肯浪费一点时间。日前，这两款车都出现在了Proton Shah Alam Centre of Excellence周边，正在进行路试。

根据The Ajerul的报道，2021 Iriz可能会追加两个新颜色，分别为红色和橙色，但可能仅限于Iriz跨界车型。这两种颜色并不新鲜了，因为Proton的B级SUV——Proton X50早就用上了。
我们在Funtastiko的朋友也收到了新的消息，消息称新款Persona和Iriz很可能在二月尾或三月初发布，但MCO的延期可能也会让上市时间延迟到四月份。
Iriz和Persona都在基于2017-2020测试标准的ASEAN NCAP碰撞测试中取得了5星的成绩，这意味着这两款车也许都搭载了ADAS套件，例如AEB和盲区侦测辅助等。
同时，也有传言称，新款车型将会将Punch CVT换成Proton Saga上的那具4速自排变速箱。
