Kia has announced the 2023 Kia Sorento facelift for its Korea domestic market. However, prices and mechanical details are still kept under wraps as the model will only be launched in August. What we do know is that its front-end now looks dramatically different from before. Instead of a very horizontal design motive emphasizing the 3-row seat SUV’s wide stance, the new Sorento facelift has T-bar, almost Cadillac-like design motive. Kia’s signature ‘tiger nose’ grille has also been reinterpreted.

Following our review of the range-topping 2023 Kia Sorento recently, we were left wanting, perhaps of a bit more panache should we say, possibly because it offers the same powertrain found in the oh-so-good Kia Grand Carnival, thus expectations were justifiably high. If anyone were to ask yours truly on the favourite car of 2022, it would be the Kia Carnival.
