@ProSyndicate With how steep your drive is Tom I'd look at going for air suspension over traditional covers or springs, at least that way you can get out the drive easy and then lower the car with a push of a button with multiple presets available. Had it on my scirocco was the best decision

Why is it every time I drop something real small, a screw, a nut, etc., I find it nowhere near where I dropped it? It will be over by the far wall every time.
I have a 91 VW Scirocco; many years ago I had to replace the handbrake cables and dropped one of the domed lock nuts. It could only have fallen 2 inches max onto the carpet on the drivers side but it vanished into thin air. I did a fingertip search, swept with a magnet and even vacuumed with a fine mesh over the tube but nothing. In the end I got a replacement from the dealer and all was well A few years later I came into some cash and decided to overhaul it, upgrade the suspension, restore the interior etc I stripped out the entire interior, seats, carpet, panels, the lot. I found a couple of quid in loose change, assorted washers, cubes of windscreen glass confirming my suspicions that it had been in a shunt before I got it but that locking nut was nowhere to be found. My theory is that in a parallel world parallel me is wondering where the hell the third lock nut came from
