Here are 5 cars that sound better than modern F1 cars

To a lot of people, engine noises are just… noise. But car enthusiasts are an odd bunch. We derive pleasure from listening to the orchestra made up of pistons (or triangular rotors). So we've narrowed down our top-5 best sounding cars of all time, all of which sound even better than current Formula One cars. We all have that neighbour that loves the sound of a booming exhaust system. This man in Johor has had enough of his neighbour’s car and decided to shoot at it in retaliation! Iskandar Puteri Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Dzulkhairi Mukhtar told the media that the 21-year-old Perodua Myvi owner made a police report when he found gunshot marks on the driver side

Our Ativa’s rattling sound is fixed! What was the problem? - Long-term review #6

It has been about two weeks of ownership with our Perodua Ativa. How have things been? Well, the rattling sound we mentioned previously had gotten really annoying. Every time we drove over abrupt irregularities on the right side, the sound became more and more apparent. We needed to take the Ativa to Sepang on Tuesday to check out some Malaysian-made electric car, so we held off going to the service centre until Wednesday. About two weeks of driving with that sound, we finally checked in at the

In Brief: Toyota Yaris - proof that a quiet cabin doesn't have to be expensive

After years of absence, the Toyota Yaris made a roaring return in 2019, shaking up the B-segment hatchback market with its stylish looks and superb list of features. We use the term “roaring” because the Yaris’s comeback saw the car pioneer safety features that have never been seen on any B-segment hatchbacks - blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, 360-degree camera (panoramic view monitor) plus 7 airbags. The Yaris is now assembled in Toyota’s Bukit Raja plant. And can easily own to the

This 1,200 PS Lexus RC F is the world's most advanced drift car

Professional drift cars are powerful, that much is obvious. All that grunt is needed to go sideways, vaporise tyres and send vlouds of smoke up in the air. This Lexus RC F you see here is one of the most powerful professional drift machines out there today, but that's not what makes it special. The proof of the pudding is in its chassis. For once, the 1,200 PS in this Lexus isn't the biggest headline-maker. What's truly remarkable about this particular RC F is the fact that it weighs a full 575

Please slow down during this monsoon season

An Instagram post by Leona Chin is proof why you shouldn’t drive so fast during this monsoon season. A Perodua Myvi and Proton Saga, both previous generation models, crashed into the guardrail after the drivers lost control. While one can argue that stability control could have mitigated the situation, it’s debatable because the drivers were going too fast on wet, slippery roads. Hopefully this will be a reminder to others to drive carefully during this monsoon season.
