After the introduction of the new 2020 Toyota Fortuner facelift, Toyota Motors Thailand just dropped a 30-second long video of its newest SUV.
Similar to the recent Hilux model, it shares the same revised 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel, now delivering 204 PS and 500 Nm, delivering 27 PS and 50 Nm more.
For the top-of-the-line Legender variant, it gets a new grille along with a new front bumper, side steps, rear bumper, front/tail-lights, and 20-inch wheels.
The interior gains a new Optitronic electronic instrument cluster, a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and Apple CarPlay for the Thai market.
So when do we Malaysians can expect to get it? The current Toyota Fortuner is locally-assembled at the Shah Alam plant. In addition to the lead time for local assembly, we can expect a local launch late-2020 or 2021.
