Initially named the GT3 but having dropped the nameplate after a fight with Porsche, the Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is the most powerful and track-ready model the British manufacturer offered in 2015. As with other cars designed for intensive track use, the GT12 is based on the standard Vantage V12, but comes with a range of racing equipment, such as a broader track, buffed fenders, wider tires, fixed rear wing, front air splitter and a rear diffuser. Extensive use of carbon fiber and lighter materials shave off 100 kilos compared to the standard version. The long hood shields a 6-liter V12 that cranks up to 600 HP. Only 100 Aston Martin Vantage GT12 were made.
