@Peugeot Funnily enough, my @PeugeotUK #Peugeot3008 has a new identity. One where the "self installing " sat-nav and system updates failed mid install and now i have no access to heating, radio, satnav, phone connectivity or in car settings. Kinda liked the old one, tbf!
@rossmannsupply I know it's in french, but I see multiple report of Peugeot limiting the updates to the onboard map system of their cars after only 4 years. that's clearly a dick move inspired by phone manufacturers, And I thought this fact might interest you.
@MDWidlake @toyotauk_ My car (Peugeot) has a TomTom system. 1 year free updates. Don't know how. Never use it. The car has Android Auto connectivity and I use it with Google Maps al the time. Much better and more accurate plus tons of additional real time information.
@ednutt2 @Peugeot Just been in for a service and system update but not spotted this. I use the trio function on every charge to get real range. I just want a main display function on the dash that shows battery % and not a random, frequently changing range.
Well what a surprise! Or, Quelle Surprise as they say in, erm, France. The "easy to install" software and mapping update for @PeugeotUK doesnt work. Now my system is stuck on a screen telling me it failed. No map. No radio! I should have listened when told, "Dont get a Peugeot!"
