Daihatsu tentunya menyedari bahawa penjualan SUV atau crossover yang laris dalam banyak pasaran, termasuklah baru-baru ini di mana Toyota Raize berjaya memacu penjualan Toyota secara global. Tidak mahu ketinggalan, Daihatsu nampaknya mahu menguji SUV segmen B kegemaran ramai tersebut untuk pasaran Indonesia.

Daihatsu Rocky dibangunkan dengan platform ‘DNGA’ Daihatsu New Global Architecture. Ura-ura mengatakan bahawa platform yang sama akan digunakan pada Perodua D55L. Tahukah anda bahawa Daihatsu Rocky sedikit lebih baik berbanding Toyota Raize?

Umum mengetahui di pasaran Malaysia, Perodua sedang membangunkan Perodua D55L yang berasaskan turut berasaskan Toyota Raize. Tidak terkesan dengan pengeluar lain yang berlumba-lumba melancarkan kereta tahun 2020, Perodua D55L dijangka akan menjengah ke pasaran pada tahun 2021.
