The 2024 Audi A3 facelift range has been unveiled, roughly 4 years after the fourth-generation was first introduced. The new model introduces design updates, increased standard equipment and crucially the A3 AllStreet, a new crossover-esque variant. 

The updated A3 Sportback and Sedan feature a redesigned, frameless Singleframe grille that's flatter and wider, matched to new side intake vents and front spoiler.

Round the back, the A3 facelift receives a redesigned rear bumper and diffuser. The model also receives new paint options: District Green, Ascari Blue, and Progressive Red. Another notable feature of the A3 series is the introduction of up to four selectable DRL signatures.

In contrast, the A3 AllStreet features a more rugged look, offering an additional 30 mm of ground clearance compared to the A3 Sportback. The AllStreet's suspension has also been retuned for comfort and dynamic handling to account for the higher ride height and standard 17-inch wheel and tyre package.

Aesthetically, the A3 AllStreet features a matte-black Singleframe grill and matte fender cladding along the flanks to set it apart from the Sportback variant. It also receives standard roof rails, a powered tailgate and a storage package for added functionality.

Inside, the A3 lineup sees significant enhancements with a new shifter design, air vents, decorative fabric inlays, and interior lighting. The standard equipment now includes a three-spoke leather steering wheel with multifunction controls, an ambient light package, and a centre armrest.

Elsewhere there are new lighting elements and contour lighting optionally available, including an innovative illuminated fabric panel (which requires the fabric to be laser cut 300 times to fit the lighting modules) on the front doors.

All A3 variants also receive a 10.1-inch touch display, an Audi virtual cockpit, and wireless smartphone charging as standard now. MMI Navigation Plus is optionally offered along with access to an app store that integrates popular third-party apps directly into the vehicle's display.

Under the hood, the A3 models will initially be available in Europe with two powertrains, a 150 PS turbodiesel and a 48V mild-hybrid 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that also produces 150 PS, paired with a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. Additional petrol and diesel versions of the A3 Sportback and A3 Sedan will follow in Q2 2024, as well as a plug-in hybrid model that is slated to arrive in Q4 2024.

Safety features across the A3 lineup include Audi Pre Sense Front, Collision Avoidance and Turn Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Assist, RCTA and Park Assist among others.

The refreshed A3 models and the new A3 AllStreet will be available for order in Europe starting in March 2024, with other markets to follow. In Europe, prices of the Audi A3 Sportback start at EUR 36,650 (~RM 188k), whilst the A3 Sedan and AllStreet start at EUR 37,450 (~RM 192k).
