The Toyota Corolla Cross has been quite the dominant force in Thailand, with over 22,500 units sold within a year since its debut in July 2020. Hybrid variants make up 85% of those, and in turn it's also the best-selling hybrid SUV there.
To celebrate, Toyota Motor Thailand has introduced a limited-run Modellista special edition.
Modellista's sporty touches on the Corolla Cross focuses on the exterior with a multi-piece bodykit and different wheels.
Available only on the Hybrid Premium Safety and Hybrid Premium variants, the Modellista kit consists of front and rear bumper extensions, a pair of side skirts, and 18-inch dual-tone wheels. A black roof can also be specified.

Otherwise, the Corolla Cross stays pretty much as Thai customers know it - standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, dual-tone leather upholstery, and the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) suite of ADAS on the Hybrid Premium Safety variant.

Powertrain remains the same too. There's a 1.8-litre (2ZR-FXE) engine under the hood, paired to an electric motor. Total output is 122 PS, sent to the front wheels via an e-CVT.
Only 250 of these will be made, and prices see a THB 41,500 (~RM 5,300) increase from the base car:
