Roughly 2 months since it made its global debut, the all-new 2023 Toyota Sienta has landed in Singapore, the first market outside of Japan to receive the new B-segment MPV.
Two variants are offered in Singapore, with prices starting from SGD 150,588 (~RM 490k) for the Elegance variant, while the Elegance Dual Tone variant is priced from SGD 152,188 (~RM 495k). As the name suggests, the latter adds a dual-tone black roof to the mix.
Both prices quoted are inclusive of COE.
In Singapore, both variants of the Sienta are powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid. The Atkinson cycle engine does 91 PS and 120 Nm, with performance boosted by an electric motor that does 80 PS and 141 Nm.
Under the WLTP test cycle, the 2023 Toyota Sienta is claimed to return up to 4.0-litre/100 km, whilst emitting 95 g/km of carbon dioxide.
Much of Singapore’s Sienta is identical to the Japan-spec model, save for a couple of small details. For example, Singapore’s Sienta gets a different 9-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Therefore, it loses out on the trick built-in front and rear dashcam system.
