Toyota Corolla Cross GR-S bookings exceed Hybrid in Malaysia; model's wait list hovers around 6 months

If there's any proof that Malaysians love thier modified cars, then response to the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport is a highlight: bookings for the model have exceed that of the Hybrid variant - previously the most popular Corolla Cross variant - according to sources close to the matter.

Yet this is more than likely just a temporary development, as it's common for new models to get a spike in interest. Not to mention too that dealers have been collecting orders for the 'Cross GR-S in the weeks preceding its launch.

Further to that, checks with several dealers revealed that the waiting period for the Corolla Cross generally hovers around six months.

The Corolla Cross range here is made up of four variants: G, V, Hybrid, and the GR-S. The GR-S is based on the petrol 1.8 V variant, but with Gazoo Racing visual and suspension enhancements.
