EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024 sets new record with 650 cars sold, 21-year-old Proton Saga buyer wins S70

The EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024’s lucky draw has come to a close, with one lucky 21-year old Proton Saga buyer winning a Proton S70.

“I never imaged that I would be selected as the grand prize winner when I booked my Proton Saga. I am very happy that I have been rewarded for being a loyal Proton customer,” said grand prize winner Siti Khairunadia, who also financed her Proton Saga via EON’s digital car financing platform, a pre-requisite for the lucky draw.

Four more lucky winners walked home with prizes worth over RM 100,000.

Organized by EON, the multi-brand car dealership under the DRB-Hicom, the EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024 was a sales carnival event in Glenmarie. It was held between 1st and 3rd of March 2024, just before Hari Raya celebrations.

EON saw a record-breaking 650 cars sold in three days; a large number of the cars were financed via EON’s financing platform.

EON Chief Executive Officer, Akkbar Danial said, “We are thrilled with the overwhelming success of the EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024. We achieved record-breaking sales of over 650 units sold, which was 30% higher that our target.”
