Along with the S4 Sedan, Audi wanted the Avant also to be redesigned for 2012, giving it a facelift that would keep it going for another couple of years. The most important changes happened at the front, where the new headlights have a new shape and arrangement inside. LED DRL and Xenon are now standard, with the Xenon Plus option costing a little extra but adding adaptive lights to the package. The interior was also rethought bringing new steering wheel options and materials and offering more customization options than ever. As for powertrain options, they remain basically the same with a 3-liter TFSI engine that develops 333 HP shared by two gearboxes.
