But, the question remains, what of the Myvi’s repairs? Can the owner claim insurance? From what we can see in the viral video, the Myvi sustained the most damage when the Waja was desperately trying to squeeze between t

Fortunately she was unscathed but surely it must have been a traumatic experience. We now learned that although there was absolutely nothing that the driver could have done to avoid the

We’re pretty sure that an insurance company would have heard all kinds of excuses to justify their insurance claims. But we’re also sure that agents will never get over the shock of some of the excuses they come across. For this instance, a plane crashing into a Lexus IS on a highway. We can only imagine how the conversation on the phone would have gone “A what hit you? On the highway? Is it true that the Proton Saga is cheaper to maintain than a Perodua Bezza? The answer is not that simple.

Both the Perodua Bezza and Proton Saga are Malaysia’s cheapest sedans, but which one is cheaper to maintain? The Perodua Bezza will cost RM 3,149 to maintain while the Proton Saga costs a slightly cheaper RM 3,008. That's a neglibible difference over a five-year/100,000 km period. However, keep

With at least five models confirmed to be launched in October, and another five more that are also very likely to join the growing list, October is definitely the busiest month of this year. That’s a nice problem to have considering the slump that the industry is in. Cumulative new vehicle sales in Malaysia for the first half of 2020 was down by over 40 percent compared to the same six-month period last year. Is the road tax actually cheaper for electric cars in Malaysia?

We’ve seen the launch of the Porsche Taycan and the MINI Cooper SE in Malaysia this year. They were surprisingly priced lower than our expectations. The MINI Cooper SE has a price tag of RM 218,380 and the Taycan 4S starts at RM 725,000. We did expect the MINI to be priced lower than the BMW i3s, but the Taycan is cheaper in Malaysia than it is in Thailand. The “low” price of these cars could be a result of the 10% excise tax on all electric cars as opposed to 60% to 105% for ICE cars. When we t
