The European Union (EU) has informed Beijing of its plans to impose tariffs of up to 38% on Chinese battery electric vehicle (BEV) imports, which could lead to annual duties exceeding € 2 billion (~RM 10 billion) and potentially spark a trade war with China, reports media from the region.
