Geely demos Zeekr 001's self-driving feature on public roads

We’ve seen what the Zeekr 001 can do when it’s pushed to its limits, now Geely is showing us how accurate the car’s autonomous system is.

In the video, the autonomous system was put to the test in real-world conditions. The Zeekr 001 managed to execute a left turn at a busy junction and even a U-turn in another test.

All the while, the system’s monitor showed the various radars working continuously as it scans surroundings while moving along the roads.

The Zeekr 001’s autonomous technology is one of the most advanced versions on the market, the system is close to level 4 autonomous driving as it doesn’t require human interaction in the vehicle’s operation.

For now, the system has only been tested in good weather condition, it would be interesting to see how the system could perform in bad weather conditions.

Geely is quick to note that the product tested in the video might differ from the production version that just started deliveries on 23-October-2021.
