GWM Malaysia has introduced an ICE to BEV Easy Conversion Plan to accelerate EV adoption in Malaysia.
GWM EV Easy Conversion Plan consists of the following:
- 2-Day Extensive Test-Drive
- ICE to BEV Trade-in Assist
- Free RM1,000 Charging Credits
- Free Accessory
The GWM Easy Conversion Plan is one of the initiatives to assist the EV buyer to convert from ICE vehicle to BEV with the chance of an extensive 2-day test-drive in the Ora Good Cat, allowing customers to have an in-depth EV driving experience at their own pace.
With the support of ICE to BEV trade-in assist, customers can trade-in their car with an additional support to sell off their ICE vehicle.

The package also comes with a RM 1,000 charging credit at selected EV charging stations for customers to familiarise with the charging infrastructure, and on top of that a free accessory as well.
Mr. Mike Cui, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia, commented, “We take our customers’ concerns seriously in regard to the challenges they are facing to consider fully electric vehicle due to many uncertainties and questions such as range anxiety, charging facilities incompetence and more."
"Hence, the Easy Conversion Plan could help to resolve their concerns and consider owning their first EV, the Ora Good Cat. Good Cat buyers can also enjoy a complimentary portable and home charger, a 5-year or up to 150,000 km warranty, and an 8-year or up to 180,000 km battery warranty."
The Ora Good Cat is sold in two variants in Malaysia, the RM 139,800 Pro and the RM 169,800 Ultra. Range for both those cars are 400 and 500 km respectively, based on the NEDC test cycle.
The Ora Good Cat will also be available for viewing at this weekend's Carlist Drive Auto Fair, happening at the Setia Alam Convention Centre from 1- to 3-September 2023, 10 am to 8 pm. Register here to stand a chance to win attractive prizes.
