You’re looking at the 2022 Audi RS5 Sportback making its first public appearance in Malaysia. The Audi RS5 Sportback was updated earlier in the year, after the distributorship appointment of PHS Automotive for Audi cars.

A highlight of the update lies in the advanced driver-assistance systems, now with the inclusion of adaptive cruise control (ACC). The rest of the car remains largely identical to before when it was introduced around two years ago.

To recap, the 2022 Audi RS5 Sportback is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine making 450 PS/600 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via the quattro system with sports differential.

0-100 km/h sprint time is claimed at 3.9 seconds while top speed is 280 km/h.

Exterior wise, it gets carbon fibre side mirror housings, gloss black treatment on the trims and badges, 20-inch five-spoke flag-style forged wheels wrapped in 275/30 profile rubbers, and matrix LED headlamps with dynamic turn signal.

There’s also the RS sports exhaust system and RS sports suspension Plus with Dynamic Ride Control.

Inside, it gets Fine Nappa leather upholstery with honeycomb stitching, 12-way electric front sport seats with electric lumbar support and memory function for the driver, virtual cockpit plus with additional RS layout, head-up display, and Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The 2022 Audi RS5 Sportback is priced at RM 809,655 (OTR without insurance). It comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty and a 3-year free maintenance package.
