Watch: FK8 Honda Civic Type R splits in 2 after T-bone accident with Volvo S60

A video of a Honda Civic Type R sitting on the road in 2 pieces has gone viral overnight. The accident reportedly happened in Denver, Colorado.

According to news report statements from both the driver and the car owner’s mother, the Honda Civic Type R, driven by the car owner’s boyfriend at that time, was exiting a junction when a Volvo S60 T-boned the car.

This sent the car skidding into a light pole which was what caused the Civic to split into 2. The car ultimately came to rest on the sidewalk in front of a fast-food restaurant.

Despite the damage, both passengers from the Civic sustained only minor injuries. Meanwhile, the older gentleman driving the S60 escaped unhurt.

Safe to say that the incident has left the world in shock to see the Type R split completely in half.
