Chery Malaysia has confirmed that it will be launching the 5-seater, C-segment Chery Tiggo 7 Pro in the second quarter of this year. When launched, its closest rival will be the Proton X70, with a similarly competitive price.

大马 Chery 确认会在本地第二季度发布旗下 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro C-Seg 五座 SUV，而 Proton X70 则成为其最接近竞争对手，定价方面也会紧跟脚步。

在南非，同时也是 Chery 最大南非右加驾市场，Chery Tiggo 7 Pro 定价方面比 Proton X70 平价低达 16%。尽管 chery 在本地市场无法享受类似 Proton 国产车身份，但根据在售 Chery Omoda 5 定价，相信 Tiggo 7 pro 售价会带来惊喜。

In South Africa, which is one of Chery’s biggest right-hand drive markets, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro is 16% cheaper than the Proton X70! Although Chery doesn’t enjoy national car privileges like Proton, the similar segment Chery Omoda 5’s price already provides a very good indication of what to expect.

本地在售 Omoda 5入门款 C 售价为 RM 108,800，而顶配 H 为 RM 118,800。动力系统方面，Omoda 5  搭载一具 1.5L 涡轮引擎 (156 hp / 230 Nm)，输出相较于 Tiggo 7 Pro 那具 1.6L 涡轮引擎 (197 hp / 290 Nm) 较低，也意味着 Tiggo 7 Pro 定价会稍微高点。

推测 Tiggo 7 Pro 会定价于 RM 130k。

作为对比， Proton X70 1.5L 三缸涡轮型号售价从  RM 98,800 至 RM 116,800，而 1.8L 四缸涡轮型号售价为 RM123,800。

Chery 认为 Omoda 5 是一款更加张扬，面向年轻人的 SUV，而 Tinggo 7 Pro 则面向相对传统，视家庭为重的买家群体。

本地 Tiggo 7 Pro 搭载一具 1.6L 四缸涡轮引擎（197 PS/290 Nm），搭配7速双离合变速箱，并配备全套智能驾驶辅助系统（ADAS）和全景天窗。

娱乐系统还超越 Proton X70，提供无线 Apple CarPlay 和 Android Auto，配备8具喇叭 Sony 音响系统。此外，Tiggo 7 Pro 配备全景360度镜头；原厂将其成为 540度全景镜头。

与 Chery Omoda 5一样，Tiggo 7 Pro 会由位于 Kulim，Inokom 工厂进行本地组装。

预计 2024年下半年，大马 Chery 还会推出视为 Proton X50 对手 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro，而价格可能低于RM 100,000
